LOGO DESIGN

Here are a few ideas for the logo / title of my magazine. I have chosen to call my magazine Volume as I believe this links in with the music magazine itself. The style of the title I have made has certain letters looking amplified like the volume on an amplifier is being turned up or down. The colours I have used are black and white as I feel these colours suit my overall magazine colour scheme the best and the amplified symbol suits the black background better than other colours.

Out of the magazine titles that I have created, the best one which I feel suits my magazine the best is the title with the letter 'M' amplified. I believe this is the best because when all the letters were amplified, the world 'Volume' was too hard to read and I felt keeping one letter amplified would give an overall symbol which could be used later on in the magazine. The letter 'M' works as a good symbol for my overall logo as it stands out quite definitively, thus catching the reader’s eye.
